Routine Disassembly of a Foot Joint |

Your foot joint, similar to that below, has different parts.

To get at the parts, we start by unhooking the springs from their catches.
|
|
Then we unscrew the foot steel.
|
|
The keys will now separate.
|
| It should also be noted that a few further steps can be taken. For example, the the pads are routinely disassembled. Also, the box joint and rings may be unsoldered - but don't try it at home. |
